ExxonMobil Global Projects Company Transforms Collaboration on Major Capital Projects Using AWS

ExxonMobil Global Projects Company needed a scalable way to improve document review and collaboration across major capital projects, especially as thousands of users would need to work in multiple global workflows. To support its DPH platform, ExxonMobil used Amazon Web Services, including AWS Professional Services, AWS Lambda, Amazon API Gateway, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon S3, and AWS Identity and Access Management, to build a cloud-based solution for its future natural gas liquefaction plant and related facilities.

Using Amazon Web Services, ExxonMobil implemented a cloud-native, serverless platform that integrated with its existing Active Directory and reduced infrastructure management overhead. The solution enabled greater agility, lower total cost of ownership, real-time functionality, and elastic scaling for worldwide use, with data secured through AWS Key Management Service and monitored with AWS CloudTrail and Amazon CloudWatch.
