ENPICOM Supports Faster Insights for Therapeutic Antibody Discovery Using AWS

ENPICOM, a Dutch bioinformatics software engineering company, needed a more cost-efficient way to securely manage and process massive immune repertoire sequencing datasets for its IGX Platform. Its computationally heavy analysis work was becoming expensive and time-consuming, and ENPICOM wanted faster performance and simpler onboarding for customers who were already on Amazon Web Services.

ENPICOM migrated the IGX Platform to Amazon Web Services, using services including Amazon EC2, Amazon EKS, Amazon ECR, and Amazon Aurora. The move was completed in six weeks with only a few hours of downtime, and Amazon Web Services helped ENPICOM achieve 3x better scalability and performance, speed up PostgreSQL database processing by up to 3x, reduce IT management burden, and create new capabilities for antibody discovery and future data growth.
