ENGIE Boosts AWS Skills to Innovate and Support Its Cloud-First Strategy

ENGIE, a global energy company, needed a secure, standardized way to collect, share, and analyze data across its decentralized business units to support its zero-carbon transition. Working with Amazon Web Services, ENGIE set out to build its Common Data Hub as a unified data platform using AWS services.

Amazon Web Services helped ENGIE implement the Common Data Hub on Amazon S3, Amazon Redshift, Amazon Kinesis Data Streams, AWS Glue, Amazon Athena, and Amazon SageMaker. The result was a scalable, governed data lake that has collected 200 TB of data across more than 1,000 projects, automated energy predictions, improved productivity, and helped maximize wind farm energy production.
