Elite Delivers Video Races to Cyclists Worldwide Using Amazon CloudFront

Elite, a small Italian cycling company, needed a way to deliver training videos and customer data reliably to hundreds of thousands of users worldwide as traffic surged during the pandemic. The spike created scaling pressure and a need to keep latency and costs low, and Elite turned to Amazon Web Services, including Amazon CloudFront, to support its video-driven training business.

Amazon Web Services helped Elite build a scalable cloud infrastructure around Amazon CloudFront, Amazon EC2, CloudWatch, and AWS developer tools to deliver content globally, automate deployments, and monitor workloads. The result was smoother handling of dramatic traffic growth, lower and continually decreasing cloud costs over an 8-year collaboration, improved security, and new data-driven services such as My E-Training.
