Ebury - Customer Case Study

Ebury is a fintech founded in 2009 that helps businesses fund and manage international trade, serving more than 10,000 customers and supporting around 140 currencies. Facing rapid growth, the company needed a more flexible, cloud-based architecture to expand into new regions, free its infrastructure team from time-consuming system management, ensure high availability, and accelerate development of new services to meet customer needs.

Ebury migrated to AWS—using EC2, RDS, Elasticsearch, Elastic Beanstalk, CloudWatch, IAM, Redshift and ECS across the EU (Ireland) and EU (Frankfurt) regions—to achieve multi‑region availability, security, and continuous development. The result: “phenomenal” uptime with no outages, the same-sized infrastructure team while the business more than doubled, reduced operational overhead, and new SaaS offerings including managed customer instances.
