DreamCasino, an online casino operator, needed to scale its services to meet customer demand while reducing infrastructure and operating costs. Amazon Web Services and Axiom migrated DreamCasino from self-managed containers to Amazon ECS and AWS Fargate, then optimized Amazon MSK, security, and observability with services like AWS Well-Architected, GuardDuty, Security Hub, and CloudWatch. The results included zero-downtime transformation, 50% better performance, API response times improving from 600–800 ms to 200–300 ms, and total costs dropping by 30%, including a 25% cut in compute costs and a 68% reduction in peak-season carbon emissions.
