Dr. Lal PathLabs is a Delhi‑based diagnostics leader founded in 1949 that now operates over 170 clinical laboratories across India, offers 3,500+ tests, and serves patients, hospitals and corporate clients through a website and app for bookings, payments and test results. Its on‑premises infrastructure suffered six to ten hours of monthly downtime, caused slow PDF result downloads (four to five minutes on 4G), forced server overprovisioning to meet peak API demand, and required significant IT maintenance.

The company migrated its web and backend systems to AWS with implementation support from Umbrella Infocare, using Amazon EC2, VPC, Route 53, S3, RDS, SNS and SES.
