ConnectWise, a Florida-based provider of an integrated business-management platform for IT services firms, struggled with a log-processing system that couldn’t keep up with volume and spikes—dropping logs and causing dashboard failures that left teams with poor visibility into service performance. They needed a real-time solution able to handle large bursts (up to six million requests per hour) and integrate with Amazon S3, DynamoDB, and Kinesis.

ConnectWise moved log processing to AWS Lambda, using S3 event triggers to process logs within milliseconds and update DynamoDB, eliminating server provisioning and scaling automatically with traffic. The change let them deploy code in a day, cut update time from weeks to minutes or hours, deliver rock-solid, real-time dashboards, reduce maintenance, and boost developer productivity.
