Comscore Maintains Privacy while Cross-Analyzing Data Using AWS Clean Rooms

Comscore turned to Amazon Web Services to support privacy-enhanced collaboration with its partners while cross-analyzing sensitive data. The company needed a way to match and analyze combined datasets without exposing underlying information such as cookies, first-party IDs, and IP addresses, and used AWS Clean Rooms as the core service.

Amazon Web Services implemented AWS Clean Rooms with data from Amazon S3 and integration with Amazon QuickSight, allowing Comscore to set privacy controls, use double-blind matching, and visualize insights in dashboards. As a result, Comscore can collaborate with up to five partners, run analyses on combined data without sharing raw data, and gain richer audience and media-trend insights while maintaining privacy.
