Coca-Cola İçecek, a beverage producer, wanted to improve the efficiency of its clean-in-place (CIP) sanitation process and avoid errors in time measurement that were driving unnecessary energy and water use. The company worked with Amazon Web Services, using AWS Professional Services and AWS IoT SiteWise, to create a digital twin solution for its production assets and processes.

Amazon Web Services helped Coca-Cola İçecek build the CIP virtual replica in two months, connecting industrial data with dashboards, analytics, and cloud-based data processing. Within four months of deployment, the company identified more than 30 improvement opportunities, cutting annual electricity use by 20% and water use by 9%, while also saving an estimated 34 processing days per year and expecting to regain 200 production days between 2021 and 2023.
