A Amazon Web Services Case Study
Bynder, a digital asset management company serving more than 1.7 million brand managers, marketers, and creatives, needed a scalable way to store and manage a rapidly growing library of more than 175 million digital assets while keeping cloud storage costs under control. The challenge was to optimize storage on Amazon S3 without manually reviewing access patterns, while also improving asset findability and speeding up client onboarding as the company grew.
Amazon Web Services helped Bynder by using Amazon S3 Intelligent-Tiering to automatically optimize storage, AWS Cost Explorer and tagging to track and manage costs, Amazon Rekognition to automate image tagging, and AWS Transfer Family to streamline secure file uploads. As a result, Bynder saved 65% on storage costs, improved asset search and classification, and accelerated onboarding with a more secure and efficient upload process.
