BtoBet, a sportsbook provider for betting and gambling businesses, needed a way to keep up with rapid growth and unpredictable spikes in demand from live sporting events. Its on-premises infrastructure couldn’t scale fast enough, putting transaction speed and customer loyalty at risk. BtoBet turned to Amazon Web Services and the AWS Migration Acceleration Program, along with services like Amazon EC2, to support its move to the cloud.

With Amazon Web Services, BtoBet can now scale compute resources in minutes, process around 9 trillion betting requests a month, and manage double the transaction volume without increasing IT headcount. The company also expanded into new markets across Africa, Europe, and Latin America, reporting 42% growth in request processing and 33% more tickets settled, while AWS Managed Services helped keep operations stable and support future growth.
