Boxever, a Dublin‑based customer intelligence and personalization platform for the travel industry, helps airlines and OTAs capture and act on large volumes of traveler behavior data in real time to deliver individualized offers. The company needed low‑latency, highly available global processing, robust security for sensitive consumer data, and the agility to scale quickly and cost‑effectively for traffic spikes and rapid R&D.

Boxever moved its real‑time data pipeline to AWS—using EC2 with Cassandra, Amazon EBS, ElastiCache, S3 and CloudWatch—encrypting data in transit and at rest and deploying across Multiple Availability Zones to keep latency under 100 ms. The shift delivered faster time‑to‑market and “fail fast” prototyping, lower capital and operational costs via on‑demand and Reserved Instances, instant scalability for spikes, and the ability to focus on innovation rather than infrastructure, giving Boxever a competitive advantage.
