Boosting Productivity, Optimizing Applications, Reducing Development Time Using AWS AML with Verisk

Verisk used Amazon Web Services’ AWS Migration and Modernization Lab (AWS AML) to modernize its Liability Navigator application and reduce dependencies on commercial operating systems. The company’s challenge was to boost productivity, improve application performance, and speed development while transitioning a legacy, SQL Server-based environment to a modern cloud architecture.

Amazon Web Services helped Verisk move Liability Navigator to a serverless stack with AWS Lambda and a multitenant design powered by Amazon DynamoDB, improving performance and allowing the company to serve many customers from a single instance. Verisk also adopted AWS CDK and reusable frameworks to accelerate future development, saving significant time and improving deployment speed; the AWS AML program also led to broader AWS certification and stronger team engagement.
