BidMotion - Customer Case Study

BidMotion is a Paris-based ad-tech platform that uses machine learning to optimize mobile advertising for customers including Uber and King. The company needed a highly scalable, cost‑controlled infrastructure to store and process huge volumes of audience data and deliver low-latency experiences for mobile users, even during traffic spikes.

BidMotion built its stack on AWS—using EC2, ELB, DynamoDB, S3, Redshift, EMR with Spark, Lambda and Route 53—to store tens of terabytes and run big-data processing at scale. The result: billions of data points analyzed (and more than one billion added monthly), sustained low latency (20–80 ms vs. competitors’ ~300 ms), the ability to handle peaks of ~1,000 requests/sec, faster international expansion across three regions, and measurable increases in app download rates that led some clients to shift budget to BidMotion.
