Bayes Esports needed a way to deliver live betting data for esports tournaments, where schedules change quickly and demand can spike unexpectedly. To power this challenge, the company built its data platform on Amazon Web Services, using services including Amazon RDS for PostgreSQL and Amazon Elastic Block Store.

Amazon Web Services helped Bayes Esports use machine learning to generate accurate, real-time gaming odds for 10,000 global tournaments each year. With AWS, Bayes Esports can scale compute resources to handle surges in betting-data demand, and the company says its IT team would need to be about five times larger without AWS.
