Bart & Associates, Inc. is a mid‑size Washington, D.C.–area IT integrator and government contractor that had been running disparate, on‑premises legacy business systems. Manual data transfers between timekeeping, accounting, and other systems created information silos, slow payroll and reporting processes, and risk from a single‑point‑of‑failure IT environment that couldn’t scale with the company’s growth.

Working with AWS partner Monocle Systems, B&A deployed SAP ERP on SAP HANA in the AWS cloud (using EC2, S3, Glacier, and an Amazon VPC) to integrate systems and enable real‑time analytics. The migration took four months at roughly one‑third the cost of other providers and delivered high availability and failover, reduced IT footprint and operating costs, mobile time capture, a rapid dev/test platform, and improved financial insights—positioning the company for future growth.
