The company chose Amazon Web Services and used Amazon EBS on Amazon EC2, along with Amazon FSR, to support consistent, point-in-time database refreshes and backups.

With Amazon Web Services, Arcesium streamlined application-consistent snapshots and fast restores, enabling refreshes of up to 30 environments in a single weekend. The solution cut client environment refresh time by 59% and refresh costs by 58%, while reducing database restore time from 15–20 hours to just 10–15 minutes.
