Aire is a London startup that builds alternative credit scores to help people gain fair access to financial products. With a small team and limited funding, Aire needed to get its credit application to market quickly while meeting the high availability and strict security requirements of banks and lenders, so it sought a flexible, cost-effective infrastructure that would support rapid innovation.

Aire launched on AWS, using services such as Amazon RDS, EC2, Elastic Load Balancing, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS and AWS Support to create a redundant, secure and scalable platform. The move delivered fast time-to-market, high uptime, lower operational overhead (avoiding dedicated infrastructure hires), clear compliance evidence for clients, and the ability to scale and expand globally as the company grows.
