Addverb Technologies, a global robotics and automation company, needed to unify its robotics development environments and reduce the time and cost of testing, maintenance, and software updates. As its business grew, the company wanted a cloud-native approach that would streamline development without changing its core solution architecture, and it turned to Amazon Web Services, including AWS RoboMaker and AWS IoT Greengrass.

Amazon Web Services helped Addverb build a cloud-based simulation and deployment pipeline for mobile robotics software. With AWS RoboMaker, Addverb cut testing time from 3–4 hours a day to just 10–15 minutes, and with AWS IoT Greengrass it reduced robot update deployment from manual onsite work to cloud-controlled releases taking about 10 minutes. Overall, Amazon Web Services helped shorten Addverb’s development cycle, simplify operations, and lower costs tied to debugging and manual processes.
