Credit Saison, a financial services company, was looking to accelerate its digital transformation and cloud migration while reducing infrastructure costs and improving efficiency across core and peripheral systems. Working with Amazon Web Services, Credit Saison also needed a better way to handle large volumes of payment reminder calls, since manual operator outreach had reached its limits.
Amazon Web Services implemented an automated call system using Amazon Connect and Amazon Polly, supported by AWS Lambda and Amazon DynamoDB to keep it serverless and managed. The solution went into production in December 2019 and now handles about 200,000 automated calls per month, saving the equivalent of 100 operator-hours and helping Credit Saison reach delinquent customers that could not be contacted manually.
