Amazon Web Services provided a solution using Amazon S3, Amazon RDS, and Elastic Load Balancing, which reduced 99designs' operational burden and infrastructure management. The results were significant scalability, allowing 99designs to grow to over 1.6 million users serving 650 million requests and storing more than 55 TB of design assets in Amazon S3, all while achieving clearer cost accounting and better bottom-line results.
