iFit, a Taiwan-based fitness and e-commerce company, faced major traffic spikes—up to 50x—during marketing campaigns and struggled with time-consuming manual server and database scaling on its previous cloud platform. To modernize its stack and automate operations, iFit migrated to AWS and incorporated services including Amazon SES (Amazon Simple Email Service) to send order invoices.

The vendor implemented a full AWS-based architecture (Route 53, Elastic Load Balancing, EC2, S3, CloudFront, RDS) and used Amazon SES for transactional email, enabling automated scaling and simpler management. As a result, iFit cut management time by up to 80%, redeployed three IT staff to development (doubling feature rollouts), reduced infrastructure costs to about one-third of the prior environment, and cut scaling time to roughly half a day.
