BQool, founded in Taiwan in 2012, provides software that helps Amazon sellers manage reviews, feedback, and pricing. As the company grew, it needed a cloud infrastructure that could scale quickly, stay highly available, support global customers, and reduce the cost and complexity of managing on-premises servers.

Using Amazon Web Services, BQool built its platform on Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, Amazon SQS, Amazon RDS, Amazon VPC, and Amazon SES. Amazon SES is used to send customer notification emails, while the broader AWS environment helped BQool achieve 99.999% infrastructure availability, grow from 10 to 1,000 paid users, and handle a 100% surge in users after Chinese New Year without performance loss. AWS also helped the company launch new services up to a month faster and operate with just one full-time engineer instead of three.
