The challenge was to help WordPress site owners easily produce and offer multilingual content to engage a broader, global online audience that extends beyond native English speakers.

The solution implemented was an upgrade to the existing Amazon Polly plugin for WordPress, integrating Amazon Translate to provide automated machine translation. This allows creators to translate posts and sites into multiple languages with just a few clicks, also generating audio versions of the translated content using Amazon Polly. The result is that site owners can now efficiently scale their reach to a global audience by providing both text and audio content in numerous languages without requiring technical skills.
