Xsolla stimulates global game spending through Amazon Pay

Xsolla, a global billing and distribution platform that supports more than 1,000 game titles, needed a frictionless, trusted payment option to help game developers scale sales and expand into new markets. To meet developer demand for a familiar checkout experience, Xsolla added Amazon Pay to its payment roster in fall 2015 as part of a suite of over 700 payment methods.

By integrating Amazon Pay, Xsolla enabled one-click purchases and leveraged access to over 300 million active Amazon customer accounts, driving measurable gains: the average order value for Amazon Pay checkouts is about $30 (roughly three times Xsolla’s overall average) and conversion rates are about 19% higher than with other prominent payment options. Amazon Pay also helped Xsolla extend developers’ market reach by offering a trusted, globally recognized payment brand.
