VOLT Lighting, an online retailer of professional grade landscape lighting, wanted to reduce friction on its e-commerce site and improve the checkout experience as its business grew. The company looked for a way to make mobile shopping easier and increase purchase conversion, and chose Amazon Pay as a payment option.

Amazon Pay was added to the cart and checkout flow alongside other optimizations, giving customers the option to pay using their Amazon login and stored payment information. After the change, VOLT Lighting reported a 44% increase in new visitors, a 52% increase in conversions, and a 91% increase in mobile conversions, while checkout sessions rose 51% in the 30 days after adoption, driven by an 85% increase in mobile sessions that proceeded to checkout.
