Case Study: Ting achieves a 22.5% conversion lift with Amazon Pay

A Amazon Pay Case Study

Preview of the Ting Case Study

Ting increases its conversion rate more than 22% leveraging Amazon Pay

Ting, a division of Tucows that offers flexible, usage-based mobile phone service, wanted to extend the trust and convenience customers expect while improving checkout and recurring billing adoption. To do this it integrated Amazon Pay as a payment option and automatic-pay solution to make sign-up and device purchases simpler and more reassuring for new and existing customers.

After a seamless integration with support from Amazon Pay’s product and engineering teams, Ting saw immediate impact: conversion rose 22.5% in the first 30 days, 34% of new customers chose Amazon Pay’s automatic payments (second only to Visa), and device order value averaged $245.31 — about 30% higher than non-Amazon payments. Customers also responded positively to the added convenience and Amazon’s A-to-z Guarantee, helping Ting drive higher sales and stronger trust with Amazon Pay.
