Cymax Stores, North America’s largest online-only furniture retailer, faced the challenge of simplifying checkout and growing online and mobile sales while delivering a trusted experience for holiday shoppers. To reduce friction and boost registrations, Cymax partnered with Amazon Pay and implemented Login with Amazon so customers could use familiar Amazon credentials, payment and shipping information without leaving the Cymax site.

Amazon Pay was added in June 2013 and upgraded in October to enable both payments and account creation; the integration drove measurable gains—conversions rose 3.15% after the log-in integration, Amazon Pay accounted for over 20% of all orders, and new account registrations on Cymax.com tripled in the first three months. Amazon Pay also delivered record holiday usage and helped Cymax improve customer experience and marketing reach by increasing identified customers.
