A Amazon Pay Case Study

Preview of the Vacatia Case Study

Guests book Vacatia reservations 75% faster with Amazon Pay

Vacatia, a San Francisco–based resort marketplace offering rentals at more than 600 resorts, needed to reduce friction for a largely mobile customer base and keep pace with rapid growth. To speed and simplify checkout for guests, Vacatia added Amazon Pay to let customers book using payment and address information already stored in their Amazon accounts.

By integrating Amazon Pay in a matter of weeks, Vacatia replaced eight form fields with as few as two taps, delivering a 75% faster mobile checkout, an 11% higher mobile average order value, and a 50% reduction in cancellation rates versus mobile credit-card users. The Amazon Pay integration also improved trust and NPS, reduced fraud, and required minimal engineering resources to implement, producing a clear, measurable boost to Vacatia’s business results.
