Grubhub achieves rapid diner growth and swift payment processing with Amazon Pay

Grubhub, the online and mobile food-ordering company, wanted to make checkout faster and more reliable for diners as it worked to simplify the ordering process. In July 2022, it partnered with Amazon Pay to support a more convenient payment experience for Prime members.

Amazon Pay’s Saved Wallet integration let Prime members use saved payment methods quickly and securely, which helped streamline Grubhub’s operations. Grubhub said the change sped up checkout and added trust to online transactions, and within six months it saw a 7.8% increase in payment authorization rate.
