Mitel Uses Amazon Chime SDK to Deliver Integrated Collaboration Application

Mitel Labs, a global provider of business communications services, faced the challenge of enhancing its video collaboration offerings. Their previous third-party solutions failed to provide the seamless, integrated capabilities their customers demanded, prompting them to seek a new technology partner. They turned to Amazon Chime and used the Amazon Chime SDK to build a new solution.

By integrating the Amazon Chime SDK into its existing AWS-based CloudLink platform, Mitel Labs was able to rapidly develop and launch its MiTeam Meetings application. This solution from Amazon Chime provided integrated video calling and screen-sharing, reducing development time from months to weeks. This allowed Mitel to meet the surging global demand for remote collaboration tools and deliver immersive, face-to-face meeting capabilities to its customers.
