Eurostar, the high-speed rail operator connecting London, Paris and Brussels, wanted to grow online rail sales and make its services easier to find and book across major travel websites. Its older E-connect product was reaching the end of its life and had limitations in flexibility and display, so Eurostar turned to Amadeus and its Rail Web Services product to create a better online distribution solution.

Amadeus implemented Rail Web Services to connect Eurostar to the digital marketplace through a single integration, enabling broader rail content, more fare choice, and a smoother booking flow. The launch, first on lastminute.com, helped Eurostar exceed its first-year sales target and even double sales targets on lastminute.com, while also improving speed and allowing Eurostar to display and sell every available product.
