easyJet, one of Europe’s largest low-cost airlines, wanted to grow its share of the corporate travel market without losing its efficient direct-booking model. The challenge was to make its business-friendly fares and services available through travel agencies and corporate booking tools, where much of business travel is purchased. Amadeus was brought in to help easyJet connect with managed travel buyers using its ticketless and light ticketing capabilities.

Amadeus implemented Ticketless Access and then Light Ticketing to integrate easyJet content into agency workflows, enabling real-time booking, changes, and reporting while keeping the process simple and cost-effective for agents. The partnership helped easyJet double its Amadeus bookings year over year, with business travel reaching 20% of total bookings and agency bookings growing nearly 3x faster for users of Amadeus Light Ticketing. easyJet also expanded to more than 80 agency partners across Europe, and Amadeus supported measurable efficiency gains for agencies, including faster bookings and savings on rebookings and changes.
