ComAp, a worldwide high-tech company that develops controls for industrial internal combustion engines and independent energy sources, struggled with slow request resolution, overloaded technicians, poor prioritization, and little visibility into incidents and workloads. To address this, the company chose ALVAO to improve IT service handling and communication between users and IT.
ALVAO implemented a self-service portal, service desk, and change management workflow to create a single point of contact, route requests to the right people, track history, and control changes through approvals. The result was clearer processes, better reporting, faster handling of requests and incidents, and freed-up IT capacity for more strategic work; ALVAO later expanded into facility management as well.
