Lucy C. Laney High School Association of Augusta, Georgia, turned to Alumni Channel and its online alumni community solution after voting to replace their Wild Apricot site. Facing thousands of graduates spread across the U.S. and the world, the association needed a central, interactive hub where alumni could find reunion and class meeting information, locate classmates and representatives, make donations, and reduce the manpower burden of their previous vendor.

Alumni Channel implemented its online alumni system as a single point of entry that lets alumni self-maintain profiles that update the master database, supports event and reunion management, and enables enhanced electronic communications (mass emails, reports, data export and surveys). By replacing the old site with Alumni Channel’s community platform and launching an integrated marketing campaign, the association created a centralized hub that streamlines data maintenance, reduces administrative work, and is expected to grow alumni contacts and engagement over time.
