A Altoros Case Study
Altoros worked with a Canadian bank that provides residential and commercial real estate lending (over 800 employees and $30B in assets) to address slow, costly releases and fragmented outsourced development. The bank needed to enable business-critical applications on VMware Tanzu while meeting Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation (CDIC) security requirements, eliminate manual, error-prone debugging, and implement centralized monitoring.
Altoros migrated six applications to VMware Tanzu (online lending, digital banking, mortgage underwriting, deposit services, risk rating, and ETL), containerized workloads, and implemented compliance modules (compliance scanner, file integrity monitor, antivirus, isolation segments), Graylog filters/dashboards, Micrometer for automated troubleshooting, and CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins/Concourse integrated with JFrog and GitLab. As a result, Altoros helped the bank achieve CDIC compliance, moved 6 business-critical apps to a cloud-native platform, and significantly reduced deployment, release, update cycles and the time/cost burdens of outsourced development.
