Global Hi-Tech Ecosystem Company needed a scalable, high-performance platform to help artists and craftsmen gain exposure, manage events, and deliver personalized cultural content to a global audience. The project also had to support growing media volumes and a custom ranking system, so Altoros was brought in to design and build the solution using Ruby-based technologies.

Altoros implemented a public cloud infrastructure on Rackspace, added Akamai CDN for faster content delivery, and replaced the initially chosen database with PostgreSQL while optimizing database requests. Altoros also developed a mathematical model for content ranking and tested the system for high-load use cases. As a result, the platform is designed to scale to 1,000,000 users without code changes.
