The Global Medical Simulation Solutions Producer, a Norway-based provider of CPR training manikins and emergency training programs, needed a faster way to give trainees feedback during cardiac arrest simulations. Working with Altoros, the company set out to build a cross-platform mobile app for Android and iOS that could connect to manikins, record sessions, and identify mistakes with helpful guidance.

Altoros delivered a Xamarin-based C# mobile app that connects via Bluetooth, captures 100+ CPR metrics, and visualizes performance in charts and tables with custom video overlays and relevant tips. The MVP was completed in time for an international medical conference, and the solution now supports 4 million manikins, helping hundreds of millions of users improve first-aid skills and contributing to the prevention of an estimated 5 million deaths per year from medical error.
