A global provider of digital identity and anti‑fraud solutions that serves finance, government, healthcare and insurance institutions engaged Altoros to modernize its monolithic, outdated identity platform. The customer needed to deliver identity authentication, verification and electronic signature components at scale while ensuring data consistency, role‑based access control and avoiding vendor lock‑in.

Altoros decomposed the monolith into six microservices (authentication, verification, audit trail, evidence recording, notifications and orchestration), implemented asynchronous invocation, Swagger‑generated clients, a shared storage with RBAC, and a custom library to support databases of choice, plus extensive testing with SonarQube. As a result, Altoros enabled a scalable, highly available solution that automates identity verification and document signing workflows for 10,000 organizations, improving maintainability and extensibility.
