A Altoros Case Study

Preview of the Large Provider of Software/Hardware Solution Company Case Study

Enabling Centralized Analysis of Athletic Performance in a Cloud

The customer, a Norwegian provider of hardware/software solutions for professional sportsmen, needed centralized access to historical training data collected from 13 types of smart devices across multiple training camps. To move its on‑premises IoT system to a scalable, secure cloud platform and enable cross‑camp analysis, the company turned to Altoros and sought a solution that would ensure high availability, strict access controls, and compliance with data‑protection rules such as GDPR.

Altoros implemented a cloud‑native architecture on Microsoft Azure, built the UI with TypeScript/React and Telerik KendoReact, enforced security with Azure Active Directory (MFA and role‑based access), integrated the KOOS survey, and covered the code with integration tests — delivering an MVP in six months for 13 device types. As a result, Altoros provided centralized, tamper‑resistant access to athletes’ historical data, enabled coaches to analyze progress and create data‑driven strategies, and established the foundation for GDPR compliance.
