Developing a Business Process Modeling Solution

A leading European provider of business process and enterprise content management solutions — serving 450 organizations worldwide, including 25% of the CAC 40 — needed a BPMN 2.0‑compliant graphic modeling component to create and edit diagrams that visualize workflows across sales, marketing, finance and HR. The customer engaged Altoros to deliver a reusable, standards‑compliant business process modeling tool to integrate into their platform.

Altoros implemented the solution as an npm package with an API and integration guidelines, built an event‑based architecture to support cyclic BPMN diagrams, and developed the UI using JavaScript/React with ESLint and Jest for code quality and test coverage. The result is a BPMN 2.0‑compliant, reusable modeling tool that enables creation, editing and aggregation of any standard‑compliant diagrams and can be integrated on demand across the customer’s platform, extending capabilities for its 450 clients and major enterprise accounts.
