Large Electrical Contractor Company, a Norwegian trade union of 500+ electrical contractors, needed to replace an outdated PHP-based purchasing system that was difficult to maintain and extend. The company also wanted a faster way to compare products, check stock, and place orders across wholesalers while integrating the new tool with its existing ecosystem. Altoros was brought in to deliver the web system.

Altoros built a modern app using Angular, ASP.NET Core, C#, and MySQL, with APIs connecting the union, wholesalers, and EFO-basen for real-time product updates. The team also automated order generation with a customizable template and shipped new features every 2–3 weeks, delivering the full solution in three months. As a result, 500+ member companies could compare offers more easily, maintenance improved, order errors were reduced, and the system was approved by the board, helping secure funding for further development.
