The customer, a US-based provider of e-commerce applications for the wine and spirits industry that supports sales managers across 43 states and helps process $15B in annual sales, needed to automate and error-prone wholesale-to-retailer ordering and enable per-retailer customizations. They engaged Altoros to design and build a multitenant order-management system with an admin panel, API and reporting to replace manual phone, email and catalog workflows.

Altoros implemented a domain-driven, multitenant architecture with a highly configurable admin panel, API for product/order data, role-based access, tenant-specific product mapping and a Bitbucket-backed CI/CD pipeline. The solution lets nontechnical admins apply customizations and provision instances in clicks, ensures retailers see only relevant offers, and—thanks to DDD and code reuse plus CI/CD—reduced feature release time by 3x while supporting the customer’s operations across 43 states and $15B in annual sales.
