A School Resumes Studies Amid the COVID-19 Pandemic with Alarta Health Safety Control Platform

A private school in Turkey with 500 students and 70 staff needed to safely resume in-person classes during the second COVID-19 wave but faced challenges with daily temperature checks, cleaning and disinfection, mask compliance, and real-time reporting. To address this, the school engaged Altoros and its Alarta Health Safety Control Platform to provide an AI-driven, technology-led approach to campus health and safety.

Altoros deployed the Alarta platform—integrating thermal cameras, CCTV, UVC disinfection modules, a mobile app and a web dashboard—to automate temperature screening, cleaning schedules, mask compliance monitoring and reporting. As a result the school reopened within 4 weeks, screened up to 512 individuals per minute, achieved 98% disinfection coverage, delivered a 95% face-recognition accuracy, onboarded 13 new students, and saved about $47,000 annually on operations; Altoros completed delivery and installation in 2 weeks and provided 12 hours of user training.
