A Germany-based, technology-driven venture capital company engaged Altoros to prototype a mobile Android app (Kotlin) that would adapt its in-city car-parking API for intercity truck drivers. The customer needed a fast, real-time way to find parking across 10,000+ locations, build optimal routes, and prevent missed deadlines and driver fatigue, but faced API time-outs, Mapbox clustering that merged distinct parking spots, and a hard 2-month investor deadline.

Altoros built an Android prototype using Mapbox and Retrofit, limiting searches to an optimal 3 km radius, tuning Mapbox to show separate pins, and automating API integration to eliminate time-outs. The working prototype returns parking results in about 10 seconds across 10,000+ locations, helped the customer raise additional funding within 2 months, and enables market entry in Germany with plans to scale across the EU—reducing route deviations, safeguarding supply chains, and minimizing driver exhaustion.
