A Highly Secure Smart Home System Wins a Kickstarter Funding

Steele Solutions, the London-based maker of nCube Home, worked with Altoros to fix quality issues and accelerate delivery of a secure IoT smart-home system. The customer needed a cross-platform app that could automate energy use, heating, appliances, and security while keeping sensitive data stored locally and supporting offline operation.

Altoros helped build the prototype and the underlying platform, including device recognition and secure workflows for the smart home hub. As a result, Steele Solutions secured additional Kickstarter funding during the prototyping phase, and the product was later delivered to homeowners across Europe, the Americas, and Australia.
