UK-Based Software Company, Steele Solutions, needed help delivering nCube Home, a highly secure IoT smart home system. After working with other teams and being unhappy with the code quality and progress, the company turned to Altoros to accelerate delivery, support offline operation, and better handle sensitive home data across a cross-platform app.

Altoros implemented local data storage, VPN-based security with two-factor authentication, offline control using Raspberry Pi, and device recognition for multiple smart-home device types. The result was a working prototype that helped the customer secure additional Kickstarter funding, and the finished product was successfully delivered to homeowners across Europe, the Americas, and Australia, improving energy usage and cutting costs through resource tracking.
