SODAQ, based in Hilversum, The Netherlands, develops green technology hardware and software, including solar-powered and GPS-enabled devices, but its growing PCB complexity made design and library management difficult with its previous ECAD tools. The company turned to Altium Designer and the cloud-based Altium 365 platform to support its more advanced projects.

With Altium, SODAQ improved the workflow from schematics to prototypes and made collaboration between electrical and mechanical engineers much easier through real-time commenting and BOM review in Altium 365. Altium also helped SODAQ present 3D board models to customers via a web link, improving visualization and communication while supporting faster, more efficient development.
