Rocketing into the Future with Apollo Fusion and Altium

Apollo Fusion, a startup developing propulsion systems, needed a better way to manage rapidly expanding PCB and parts libraries while keeping engineering, management, and investors aligned. Its older desktop-based tools created accessibility issues, data inaccuracies, and collaboration gaps between electrical and mechanical teams, making transparency especially difficult as the company prepared for its first major launch.

Altium implemented Altium Designer with Altium 365 to connect teams in a shared cloud environment and centralize part libraries and design data. The solution improved collaboration, made information more accurate and accessible, and helped management provide more timely, comprehensive updates to investors. Apollo Fusion also gained easier data export to thermal analysis tools and the ability to quickly add new part fields, such as radiation-hardened components.
